Plateau Ltd. hosted sites shall not be used to store or disseminate content of a obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit or adult nature or provide links directly or indirectly to this type material. We will not knowingly complete the registration of any domain names which are profane or pornographic in nature or appear to be in violation of our AUP.
The Active-Server System shall not be used for gambling or any other practice deemed illegal by the laws of any of the States of The United States of America or the US Federal Government. This includes content that is stolen, pirated or unlicensed copyrighted material.
The Active-Server System shall not be used to store or disseminate material of a threatening or slanderous nature.
The Active-Server System shall not be used to send spam or receive replies to spam or be used as a destination or portal web site for spam. This includes mailing lists which are not opt-in, sometimes called target mailing lists and sending UCE to news groups.
Plateau Ltd., which provides your Active-Server, reserves the right to deactivate any virtual server account, if the account is in violation of Active-Server operation procedures. No refunds of any sort will be made to violators of our AUP.
We reserve the right to refuse service, to anyone, for any reason, in order to ensure a professional environment for users of our servers.
NT Servers Only: We allow the uploading of custom DLL's or Perl Scripts to our Windows 2000 servers. We reserve the right to determine the type script or DLL that you are running and if you have debugged it on a non-production server. Our servers are production servers, users should not be debugging code and scripts on a production server. We have found that by making this restriction we can keep our servers up close to 100% of the time.
You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Active-Server Service Contract.
You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Good Neighbor Policy.
You agree that violation of any of our policies is grounds for immediate suspension of services without a refund.
Good Neighbor Policy (Unlimited Use Policy)
Please realize that unless you are on a dedicated server you are on a server which is shared by multiple users. We are able to offer unlimited hits and downloads by maintaining large bandwidth disk space to user ratios.  While it is extremely rare that we run into a problem, we have established this  Good Neighbor Policy to make sure that everyone on the server has reasonable access to the server resources.

Our single Web Site Hosting service plans such as our Economy NT or Standard Linux hosting packages may only be used with a single domain name. Examples: Having yoursitename.com, yoursitename.net and yoursitename.org on the same service plan are OK, but a small monthly fee may apply for the additional names. Unrelated domains like aaa1.com and bbb2.com need to be on separate service plans or on a virtual server which is designed to host multiple domains.

If we find that a user is monopolizing server resources we will contact the site owner as it is time to move to a dedicated server. At this point you should be making enough money to afford a dedicated server. We reserve the right to limit or restrict your server resources to insure that all the sites on a server are able to operate normally. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us and ask.
