Server Co-location  
  Westin building NOC (click for larger image).We provide server co-location in our carrier class data center in the Westin Building in Seattle, WA. The Westin Building is where all of the major telephone pop points terminate for Seattle and the Northwest.

Westin Building NOC window facing north (click for larger image).Our servers are located in the Westin Building in Seattle, which is where all of the major telephone pop points terminate for Seattle and the Northwest. We are connected to the Internet via multiple T3s and OC3 connections. You will have access 24/7 (with a 24 hour notification requested, 1 hour required) to your servers. Our server rooms are considered a high security area and require a security escort at all times.
  • Operating Environment: Raised floors with humidity-controlled floor-panel cooling system, plus complete HVAC climate control.
     
  • Racks: All racks are seismically-braced and drilled for universal compatibility.
     
  • Power: Fully redundant power with redundant generator backup for all racks and cabinets, with each RACK having it's own power connection to the building power, which includes Emergency Generator Power, and a USP.
     
  • Security: Our server rooms are considered a high security area and require a security escort at all times. You will have access 24/7 (with a 24 hour notification requested, 1 hour required) to your servers. . Regular access hours are M-F 10-5 PM. Access outside of that timeframe is a billable item.
     
  • 24x7 On-site Staff: Our on-site Network Operations Center is staffed 24x7x365. Remote hands and engineering are available at any time.
     
  • Connectivity: We are connected to the Internet via Multiple T3 connections.
   
 

Co-location Pricing

  
Westin NOC (click for larger image).There are basically two items involved in our co-location pricing. The rack space used and the bandwidth used. In order to save you money and save us rack space we only accept rack mounted server cases.

Rack Space:
1 X Setup fee: $250 ($500 if we install your OS/software)
Monthly Space - Rack Mount 1U Server case $125 USD
Monthly Space - Rack Mount 2U Server case $175 USD
Monthly Space - Rack Mount 3U Server case $225 USD
Monthly Space - Rack Mount 4U Server case $275 USD
Includes UPS and Generator Backup Power.
  Bandwidth:
Bandwidth grape (click for larger image).Bandwidth is measured using the 95th percentile method. The advantage to you, our customer, is that you get the performance of a high-speed connection, while paying only for your actual usage. In addition to this since the 95th percentile method tosses out the highest 5% of the bandwidth readings you are not adversely affected by occasional peaks in usage. This is like getting 1.5 days of uncharged bandwidth every month. Since the 95th percentile tosses out the top 5% of the measurements it is hard to correlate bandwidth to GB per month. The numbers in parentheses are to be used as a rough comparison.

Server Hardware  
  If you are building a new server we would like to suggest the 1U or 2U system similar to those sold by SuperMicro, IBM or Dell. You can also have a SuperMicro server built by us, to your specifications.
   
 
Options  
Options:

  • Remote Power Switch - Allows you to remotely kill power to your server via telnet $25/Mo USD

  • Special firewall and IP Port blocking is available.

  • Mail server backup (MX 20) and pop accounts are available. $25/Mo.

  • Additional IP addresses are available for $5/Mo.

  • Bandwidth limiting. If you are concerned about excessive bandwidth usage we can peak limit your bandwidth on the server to any bandwidth level desired.

  • Support or consultation which is beyond the scope of normal connectivity issues are billed at $125/ Hr during regular business hours and $187.50/ Hr during non-business (emergency) hours. US Holiday support is billed at $187.50/Hr. this includes hands on support, emergency reboots, etc.

  • All support is billed in 1/4-hour increments.

  • All emergency support is billed door-to-door, 1-hour minimum.
 
Support Fees  
Support or consultation which is beyond the scope of normal connectivity issues are billed at $125/ Hr during regular business hours and $187.50/ Hr during non-business (emergency) hours. US Holiday support is billed at $187.50/Hr. this includes hands on support, emergency reboots, etc. All support is billed in 1/2-hour increments. All emergency support is billed door-to-door, 1-hour minimum.
   
 
Billing Policy  
All payments are due in advance to service being rendered. We require 1st and last month in advance if paying via wire transfer or check to prevent termination of services for due to slow mail or banks. Terms are month to month with 30 days notice required for termination of services. All $ amounts are in US Dollars (USD). (Due to the rapidly changing Internet market prices are subject to change without notice.)
