The following document will guide you through configuring the SonicWall client software on your PC. While the example shown was on a Windows XP OS, these instructs should also work on other operating systems. If you click on the images below a larger version will be shown.
1. If you use a dial-up connection, connect to your ISP.

2. Once connected to Internet Click on SonicWall program icon in your
menu.

3. Select "New Connection" on the sonic wall menu.
4. Select "Next" in the New Connection the wizard.

5. Select
"Remote Access" and click on "Next".

6. Enter
the IP or Internet Address for the VPN connection. This was given to you along
with your login information.

7. Optionally create a desktop icon and select to have connection enabled
when program is launched.

8. If you
are using a dialup connection select the connection in the pop-up Phone Book
dialog.

9. Enter
the Pre-Shared Key you were given.

10. Enter your user name and password

11. You are now connected to the office LAN. You can minimize this box.

12. Use applications and shares as needed.
You can even map network drives.
Note: You may have to use the “Connect using a different user name” to get permissions to connect. Example: If my domain were SAMMI I might need to connect using
SAMMI/username
And my network password.
